ACL-RSI: Are You Psychologically Ready to Return to Sport?
Recovering knee function is only part of returning to sport after ACL reconstruction. Confidence, fear of re-injury, and how you weigh the risk of playing again all matter too. This is the ACL-Return to Sport after Injury (ACL-RSI) scale, a validated 12-question tool. For each question, rate yourself from 0 (not at all) to 10 (extremely).

What this does β and doesn't β tell you. This tool is for education and
reflection, not diagnosis. It is based on group averages from one research study and cannot
predict your individual outcome. A high or low score is a starting point for a conversation,
not a verdict. Please discuss your result with your surgeon or physiotherapist as part of
your overall return-to-sport plan.
