Scapular Retraction
Reps: 5 Sec hold, 10 Reps, 2 Sets
‣
- Start: Begin sitting in an upright position.
- Move: Gently squeeze your shoulder blades together, relax, and then repeat.
- Tip: Make sure to maintain good posture during the exercise.
Neck Range of Motion
Reps: 5 Sec hold, 12 Reps (twice each direction), 2 Sets
‣
- Start: Sit on a chair
- Move: Move your neck as far as you can in 6 directions.
- Looking up and down
- Looking left and right
- Bringing ear to shoulders
- Tip: Avoid moving your shoulders and upper body as you move your neck.
Seated Thoracic Extension
Reps: 5 Sec hold, 10 Reps, 2 Sets
‣
- Start: Begin sitting upright in a chair with your hands clasped behind your neck.
- Move: Slowly bend your head and neck backward, curving your upper back. Hold briefly, then return to the starting position and repeat.
- Tip: Try to only bend your upper back, and keep your lower back still during the exercise.
